The FIRE Coalition held its second educational event of 2009 on April 13, 2009 at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. "The Voice of York County," WRHI FM 94.3 AM 1340 broadcasted this Town Hall Meeting live! FIRE Coalition S.C. Director Ginny Faircloth did an outstanding job organizing this event.

The negative impact of illegal immigration is felt throughout our country, especially in the Deep South where unemployment rates are at levels not experienced in decades. This town hall style event with special guest speaker, former Congressman Tom Tancredo in Winthrop Coliseum, located on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina was a peaceful, dignified exchange of ideas and civil dialog. Alamance County, N.C. Sheriff Terry S. Johnson and Lexington County S.C. Deputy Sheriff Ted Xanthakis and his K-9 partner Arcos recieved the Operation FIRE & ICE Distinguished Service Award for their exemplary performance in working with ICE to curb illegal alien crime and protect lives.

Congressman Tom Tancredo started the Immigration Reform Caucus in Congress, and has been a constant voice against the largest invasion in world history, and was a Presidential candidate in the 2008 election cycle. Shortly before leaving Congress, Rep. Tancredo launched The Rocky Mountain Foundation. "Each generation must battle anew to preserve and fortify our Constitutional liberties, our safety and security, and the principles of private property and limited government which underlie our economic prosperity. To advance these goals, we will utilize all available means of education and communication to illuminate and shape the public debates on policy issues confronting the citizens of Colorado and the region."

NATIONAL SECURITY BEGINS IN THE CAROLINAS

On January 12, 2009, the FIRE Coalition held its first National Security Conference of the year. Watch these videos to find out what the mainstream media and many elected officials refuse to talk about. PA Rep. Daryl Metcalfe has stated that "national security begins at home." The FIRE Coalition agrees. Until we get back to the rule of law outweighing the rule of men, our country is in grave peril.

The United States is in the midst of the largest invasion in world history. The resulting calamity is outrageous. Twice as many Americans die each year at the hands of illegal aliens than died in the attacks of 9/11/2001.

Families are forever changed by the ongoing slaughter. Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution guarantees us protection against invasion. That includes protecting us from loss of life, loss of property, loss of jobs, loss of the rule of law.

Diseases previously eradicated in the U.S. are now on the rise. North Carolina is experiencing the highest unemployment rate in 35 years. Terrorists and drug cartels have an open-door policy along our borders and ports of entry. Corrupt business leaders are filling their pockets with illegal foreign workers that cost the American taxpayer a whopping $346 Billion each year. Watch these videos, and visit the FIRE Coalition project sites to learn what you can do to stop this tragedy.
